MoTeC M150 Motorsport Wiring Loom
Motorsport-grade ETFE (MIL-W-22759/16) wiring loom engineered specifically for the MoTeC M150 Engine Control Unit.
This wiring loom is designed for builders who require a reliable, professional-grade electrical foundation for a MoTeC M150–controlled engine. Hand-built using MIL-W-22759/16 motorsport-grade ETFE wire, it is intended for high-performance and elite-level motorsport applications where heat, vibration, electrical noise, and system complexity are part of the operating environment.
Whether you’re completing a top-tier race build, a modern engine conversion, or a no-compromise performance vehicle, this loom removes the limitations commonly found in universal or automotive-grade wiring.
Designed Specifically for MoTeC M150
This loom is pinned exclusively for the MoTeC M150 ECU. Every circuit is allocated correctly for the ECU’s inputs, outputs, power supply, and advanced high-speed communications — with no universal pinouts, repurposed circuits, or guesswork.
The result is a clean, predictable wiring system that supports accurate sensor data, stable ECU operation, and reliable integration with complex CAN-based vehicle systems.
Built Using Motorsport-Grade ETFE Wire (MIL-W-22759/16)
MIL-W-22759/16 ETFE wire was originally developed for aerospace and military applications and is ideally suited to modern, high-density motorsport wiring systems.
Key benefits include:
-
Excellent resistance to heat, fuels, oils, and automotive chemicals
-
Thin, lightweight insulation for compact, low-bulk, high-channel-count looms
-
High durability under vibration and continual movement
-
Reduced risk of insulation degradation over time
This wire is selected for reliability — not cost.
Terminated or Unterminated Options
This M150 loom is supplied in an unterminated (flying lead) configuration as standard, allowing complete flexibility for engine layout, sensor selection, power distribution, and CAN integration.
A pin placement sheet showing wire numbers is available to download to assist with installation.
Custom terminations, wire lengths, multi-CAN provisions, and additional system integrations can be discussed prior to ordering if required.
Suitable Applications
This loom is suitable for:
-
Professional and elite-level motorsport (circuit, endurance, GT, prototype)
-
High-end engine swaps and advanced conversions
-
Vehicles utilising multiple CAN networks and PDM-based power systems
-
Professional race teams and specialist motorsport workshops
This is not a vehicle-specific plug-and-play harness. It is intended for advanced custom installations where control, reliability, and electrical integrity are critical.
