(2008–2020 Suzuki Hayabusa)

Product Overview

This plug-and-play adapter box has been engineered to allow the Generation 2 (2008–2020) Suzuki Hayabusa engine to operate on a Haltech Elite 750 ECU while retaining the OEM engine harness.

It provides a clean, structured interface between the factory Hayabusa wiring system and the Elite 750, eliminating the need for loom modification, sensor duplication, or unreliable workarounds.

The result is a motorsport-ready engine management solution that simplifies installation, reduces failure points, and maintains OEM-level connector integrity.

Key Features

  • True plug-and-play adaptation between OEM Hayabusa engine harness and Haltech Elite 750

  • No cutting, splicing, or modification of the factory loom

  • Supplied with a pre-configured, calibrated base map

  • Optional external Bosch igniter to drive OEM ignition coils

  • Compact, enclosed adapter box designed for reliability and serviceability

  • Designed and built by Hard Wired Motorsports

ECU Inputs & Outputs Supported

When installed, the Haltech Elite 750 is configured to see and control the following directly:

Engine & Driver Inputs

  • Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)

  • Clutch Switch

  • Gear Position (Internal PCB 1k Ohm Pull-up for voltage per gear)

  • Intake Air Temperature (IAT)

  • Coolant Temperature (CTS)

Engine Position & Control

  • Crankshaft Position Sensor

  • Camshaft Position Sensor

  • Ignition Coil Control

  • Sequential Primary Injection

  • Batched Secondary Injection

Outputs & Control

  • Fan Relay Trigger

  • Fuel Pump Relay Trigger

  • Boost Control (via repurposed OEM narrowband O₂ connector)

Repurposed OEM Inputs

  • Oil Pressure (via OEM barometric pressure connector)

  • Vehicle Speed Input (via OEM MAP sensor connector)

All signal routing is handled internally within the adapter box, maintaining OEM connector usage while providing correct signal conditioning for the Elite 750.

OEM Systems Eliminated

As part of the conversion, the following factory systems are no longer required and can be physically unplugged and removed:

  • Barometric Static Air Pressure Sensor

  • MAP Sensor

  • Tip-Over Sensor

  • Idle Speed Control Valve

  • Secondary Throttle Valve

  • SDS / Yosh control systems

  • Factory Immobiliser

This reduces system complexity and removes multiple common failure points in performance and motorsport applications.

CAN Expansion & Future Upgrades

The system supports full CAN-based expansion via the Haltech Elite platform, including:

  • Haltech IC-7 or UC-10 Dash

  • Third-party CAN dashes (MoTeC, AIM, Link, etc.)

  • Single or Dual Wideband Controllers

  • Keypad Inputs

  • Haltech CAN I/O Expansion Modules

Configuration Options

This product can be supplied in the following configurations:

  • Adapter box only (customer-supplied Elite 750 ECU)

  • Adapter box with Haltech Elite 750 ECU supplied

  • With or without external Bosch igniter for OEM coil operation

Please select the required configuration at checkout or contact us prior to ordering.
